Prepare A Feeder Program

The programmatic work MATI-X engages in falls into two categories: Direct Relief and Human Development. Our two programs, that exist because of and are organized around our innovative cold storage model, are Feed a Person and Prepare a Feeder.

Our human development work, through our Prepare a Feeder program, focuses on equipping community members with the necessary knowledge and skills to create and/or improve their agribusinesses, up-skill to pursue professional advancement, and connect with new markets for their agribusiness goods and services. Our Cold Storage Hubs provide the opportunity for practical experience and hands-on learning to our participants.

MATI-X has supported over 40 individuals in growing their agribusinesses and meeting their organizational goals through the following programs and services:

  • Entrepreneur Agribusiness Training Program

  • Compliance Training and Credentialing for the Ag-Community

  • Direct access to wrap around services

  • Youth Entrepreneurship Development

We are proud of the work we have done and continue to do. Part of addressing the ongoing needs in our communities is creating a pathway for distributions to no longer be a necessity. Equipping our community with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to sustain themselves is the proven pathway to that reality.
